QUINKIN SCREEN SHOTS
Well the first rough edit of Quinkin has been done in a record four days and delivered to the Melbourne offices of Screen Oz for consideration for their 'post-production completion funding'. Even at this early stage, we reckon the cut is looking pretty damn good, and here's a few ungraded screen grabs to show you what we mean.

QUINKIN IS COMING
The latest production from Before Dawn Films 'Quinkin' is underway. Shot by Stuart Van Eysden on the RED one, this promises to be an exciting release by BDf. A great script, combining a gritty intriguing narrative with brilliant performances has really raised the bar for Before Dawn. Some production shots of what was a punishing but ultimately successful shoot can be found here.

OFF TO ST KILDA
The latest offering from Before Dawn films Royboys has been accepted into the 2009 St Kilda Film Festival! Directed by Brett Swain and Michael Wannenmacher, this
short documentary uses the backdrop of the local Fitzroy Football Club’s Heritage
round game to explore the issues of community and change. We’re all massively
excited here at BDf to be part of one of Australia’s premier film festivals.

ROYBOYS IN THE CAN
In a departure from our usual unusual fare, BDf has combined with director and well known Australian actor Brett Swain to present Royboys, a documentary. Brett and
Mick have co-directed, produced, shot and edited this short doco, focussing on the
Fitzroy Football Club, it’s history, and the community that surrounds it. On behalf of
the boys, BDf would like to extend their very special thanks to the Fitzroy Football
Club, Club President Craig Little, the team, the coach and all the members and
supporters involved in its making as well as Matt and Kath at Risk Sound for the
stellar job they have done on the audio. We believe it’s come up trumps and look
forward to seeing it on the big screen very soon.
